Back in 2013, I was under a great deal of stress as my marriage of four years began to full completely apart. One night, I had a very vivid dream that wouldn't fade for several days. I thought if I wrote the ideas out, they'd leave me alone. A month later I had written over 100 thousand words of notes and storyline. As I left my husband and moved back to my hiome state of Ohio, I kept working on the story and found it brought me a great comfort and even some closure. At some point, I decided to just plunge ahead and finish the first book before the end of 2017. With only three days to spare, I got the first draft finished! My goal for 2018 is to edit and research and flesh out the whole story. Once that's done, it's on to publishers!
Though the story is not in it's final form, I'm always looking for beta readers and editors to take a peek and give comments and opinions. Just send me a message and I'll add you to the list of readers!
An older story of mine that I still adore. I've gone back and worked on it multiple times, and each time it gets more fleshed out. A young girl named Nadia finds herself 'awake' in a fantasy world whenever she goes to bed. Her normal life is boring and uninteresting, but soon she becomes a warrior, a mage, and someone of import. However, such powers don't come cheap, and the price of these adventures begins to take its toll.
This story I started writing off and on when I was about twelve-years-old. Based on a dream, the story revolves around a young girl named Crystal. Discovering a young nobel fleeing from monster, Crystal has to help him stop his mother, the Queen, from destroying the world by unleashing the sealed magics hidden throughout the country. In doing so, Crystal learns the painful truth surrounding her missing parents.
