Roni
Character Background
Made up as a joke, Roni was suppoused to reflect Maq (Maq, Roni; macaroni. Yeah, I know, it's a bad joke). I never really gave her a solid history, so after the joke got old (which was quick), I abandoned Roni. However, when building the stories for all these redesigned characters, I decided to brush Roni off and give her a new start.
Storyline
Roni joined the Mercenaries for the most basic of reasons: they were hirering. Because of her slowness and seemingly brainlessness, nobody wanted to hire her as their operator. But since the mercs were so desperate, they decided to take Roni in. They quickly discovered that she was neither as slow nor as dim-witted at first glance. While the mercs have since brought in other operators, Roni still holds onto the position of Head Operator, since when it counts, she can move like lightening. Any other time though, and you'll see her staring into space, seemingly without a care in the world
