The Original Maq
Character Background
To be honest, I hadn't given much thought to there being an 'original' Maq before I created this current storyline. But it makes more sense, since Maq isn't a name likely given to such a cute little reploid. So I had to come up with someone better suited to the name.
Storyline
The original Maq, who took in Mango and eventually gave his name to, actually wasn't the first reploid to carry the name. Back when the war between reploids and humans had just started, a reploid bearing that name had emerged and formed a small group of mercenaries. Not much is known about this mysterious reploid, only that her name was 'Maq'. After she was brought down, she passed her name down onto the next in line, who later did so when he died. As such, the name Maq has been passed down for several years, mostly to male reploids, until finally little Mango snagged it for herself.
