Kevin Newmier
Born with a rare heart defect, Kevin is only in his early 20's, and he's already been told by most doctors not to make any long term plans. With less then 6 months left to his lifespan, Kevin decides to run off on his own. Renting a small apartment in which he can live in quiet reflection, Kevin attmpts to make one last journey to the place where, as a child, he thought he saw a Goddess bathing.

Now however, he's stuck with a Goddess of his own, and it's not as great as he thought it could have been. Given 120 days to live due to an accident involving the Goddess known as Chance, he now has a surely, tempermental Goddess to keep under control at all times as her own siblings set out to destroy one another. So much for quiet reflection...
Chance
Born in the realm of Gods and Goddesses, Chance never learned love or attachment, not even to her own kin. Given the thankless charge of guarding the gates of limbo, Chance never really got to know her family until one day, her parents brought them all together and proposed a contest to see which of them is their true heir. The battlefield of choice: Earth. The rules: Don't get caught. No real interest in the squabble, Chance bumbles along until a fight with Fate chains her to a human who's about to die. Unable to escape the bonds her father wraps around them, she now must spend the next 120 days with Kevin, all the while avoiding her siblings and their titanic wrath.
Fate
The brother of Chance, Fate commands the skies and all the powers within. The opposite of his uncaring twin, Fate is filled with a passion as he strives hard to be named the true heir. He struggles to hold onto his life while trying to take as many of his siblings down as he can. But due to his involvement with the Chance/Kevin accident, he is severly penelized, and must now climb his way back up to the top.
Mr. Scott
The elderly man who runs the local conveniance store. He takes in Chance and Kevin when they need a job. While Mr. Scott wont say much about himself, he loves to talk of his family, most of whom havn't spoken to him in ages.
